com JOB SUMMARY STATEMENT:
The Associate and mixes frosting ingredients, assembles decorating tools, makes up decorating cones, fasts and decorates cakes.
The Associate also tracks and records loss.
Essential Functions:
Promptly, at the start of the shift, the employee will review the work schedule, check the equipment and supplies required to perform the work scheduled, comply with PPE requirements, and otherwise prepare for duties.
The Associate mixes frosting, colors frosting, makes cones, loads cones, frosts cakes, and decorates cakes with colored frosting.
The Associate takes orders, completes orders, and stores orders in the Bakery cooler.
The Associate cleans and sanitizes all work surfaces, all tools and equipment, all display cases, and all floors and counters.
The Associate tracks and records loss.
The Associate must demonstrate proper Food Safety and Sanitation work habits.
JOB TASKS:
Task 1.
The Associate pours frosting mix into a clean barrel, adds water, and mixes with power mixer.
Task 2.
The Associate assembles clean tools and implements, mixes colored frosting, makes cones, puts colored frosting into cones.
Task 3.
The Associate frosts cakes per order and uses cake decorating implements to put colored frosting decorations on the cakes.
Task 4.
The Associate makes boxes, puts finished cakes into the box and puts the box in the Bakery cooler or, will put the finished cake in the display case.
Task 5.
The Associate waits on customers and takes orders for cakes.
Task 6.
The Associate tracks and records loss.
Task 7.
The Associate performs record keeping functions as assigned by Department Manager.
GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS Must be authorized to work in the US.
Must be able to read, write, communicate, and understand in order to complete job duties in a satisfactory manner and to comply with Company policies and safety regulations.
Must complete the company introductory (probationary) period of 60 days.
Must meet the ergonomic and physical requirements, as well as the physical base scores for this position.
Must be able to use, or learn to use, the equipment and tools used to perform this job.
Must be able to perform all job functions safely.
Must meet the company performance standards for the job.
Must agree to wear the proper assigned clothes and shoes approved for this job.
Must have 1 year of work experience or technical training (this is a job specific requirement).
Should have keyboarding skills.
