Job Description:
About the Role:
Inventory Coordinator coordinates the inventory activities at the site for both production supplies, ingredients, & finished goods.
Ensures tight control of inventory from the time the product is received in the warehouse through production issue and consumption.
Works closely with site purchasing to ensure inventory accuracy, supporting the timely reorder of materials and ingredients needed for production.
Responsible for accurate and efficient cycle count inventory functions.
Must ensure efficient production and compliance with all Company quality, safety, and Good Manufacturing Practices policies and procedures.
Forklift Certification Principal
Responsibilities:
Ensure that inventory discrepancies are thoroughly researched, while recording errors and performing corrective action with personnel in all departments.
Implement method for ensuring accuracy of all packaging materials.
Maintain records involving all cycle counts completed, in addition to research performed.
Develop and report on metrics for inventory accuracy which will be utilized to focus efforts on problem area.
Daily count and reporting of raw ingredients.
Daily verification of ATL, DCK, and YRD locations Weekly reports on inventory adjustments, aged and expiring inventory.
Tracking raw bulk items to capture trends of over or under usage.
Take responsibility for the accuracy of all relevant reporting metrics.
Assist all departments with performing last-minute research of problem items.
Complete cycle counts Removing items from Plant Trial RSPO tracking- Palm oil usage.
Set up new items for warehouse bins, pallets, and batch codes.
Other duties as assigned.
Important Details:
This is a full-time permanent role on 1st Shift Monday to Friday with flexibility to work weekends as needed.
