Responsibilities:
- Measure, cut, and shape wood, plastic, and other materials according to specifications - Construct building frameworks, including walls, floors, and roofs, using hand or power tools - Install windows, doors, and siding - Follow blueprints and building plans to meet client requirements - Ensure structures are level, plumb, and properly aligned - Inspect and replace damaged framework or other structures - Collaborate with other construction professionals to ensure project completion
Experience:
- Proven experience as a Framer or in a similar role - Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and tools - Proficient in using hand tools and power tools - Ability to read and interpret blueprints and building plans - Familiarity with safety regulations and procedures on construction sites Skills:
- Construction management:
Ability to oversee and coordinate construction projects from start to finish - Heavy lifting:
Capable of lifting heavy materials and equipment as required - Concrete finishing:
Experience in finishing concrete surfaces to achieve desired texture and appearance - Heavy equipment operation:
Proficient in operating heavy machinery such as forklifts or cranes - Concrete forming:
Skilled in creating forms for pouring concrete foundations or structures - Stucco:
Knowledge of applying stucco finishes to walls or surfaces - Metal stud framing:
Experience in framing structures using metal studs instead of wood - Hand tools:
Proficient in using various hand tools such as hammers, saws, drills, etc.
- Siding:
Familiarity with installing siding materials on buildings for weatherproofing and aesthetics - Roofing:
