com Sodium Dental is looking for highly motivated and ambitious technology enthusiasts who want to join a rapidly growing team in the Dental Technology field.
Sodium Dental provides high tech diagnostic solutions to dental practices across the country.
We also repair digital X-ray sensors and intraoral cameras for dentists all around the world.
The Diagnostic Testing & Support Specialist position means you'll be working in our office testing customer equipment on Windows computers, generating estimates for customers, answering general questions about our services, and working with our sensor repair team to provide the highest quality repairs to our customers.
This is an entry level technical position where you will perform troubleshooting on digital x-ray sensors, intra oral cameras, and Windows PCs, log customer equipment details in web-based CRM, determine what issues the equipment is having and determine a course of action for fixing the issue.
The X-ray sensors and intraoral cameras are USB devices that plug into a computer.
They do not generate radiation and they do not have any radioactive components within them.
We use radiation generating tube heads, a human skull encased in resin, and an aluminum step wedge to create test X-rays for quality control.
You will be using these tools to take example X-ray images and intraoral camera images, before repairs and after repairs are completed, as part of our quality control.
You can get a glimpse into initial and final testing by visiting our website here to view the final testing process https:

After our repair techs complete the repair, you will perform final testing on the x-ray sensor to ensure quality control is held to our high standards and then take after photos to document the device's condition.
